Don't ever forget
Enter the world of Requiem, where everything isn't as it always seems to be. Cities are massive, neon epicenters of the world, and this story focuses on one of those cities. Requiem. The year is 2020, and it isn't as advanced as you think. 2012 came and went, and it did do something. On that day, a comet flew incredibly close to the earth, giving a small percentage of the world population special 'gifts'. Some use these gifts for good, others to further envelop themselves in darkness.
Other races were brought up as well with the coming of the Comet. The Godatsu, superhuman humans, incredibly strong and fast. They were feared by the populace, and sent into almost near extinction for people fearing what they do not understand. Then they have the Seishin. The undead. But these undead are not the portrayed in the movies of old. These are thinking, talking, and functioning corpses. And then you have the ones who control them, Akuma. The demons. To combat the Seishin and the Akuma, the city government has been abducting children and performing genetic experimentation on them, changing various parts of their body, and some go as far as to use magic, for once the Comet came, it has become a very real thing.
